Day #4881 (Thu., May 18, 2023) – Hand, Foot, And Mouth Disease (HFMD)
While I was picking up groceries yesterday I saw the car in the photo to the right in the parking lot. The kids make fun of my “old” 1995 Camry, what if I picked them up in this?
My wife slept in late this morning so I got up to check on Bobby. He was playing with his Pokemon cards on his bed and told me that he got up around 5 am.
Both kids are home today. My wife took them to the doctor and Bobby has Hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD). Katie, not yet… It’s very contagious so the doctor told us to keep Bobby away from other kids till Monday at the earliest. We’re waiting for blisters to appear.
This afternoon I made a couple of crosswords for Bobby to fill out. He enjoyed them so much that when I told him there were crossword books for kids he jumped on the opportunity to get one. We found one on Amazon and it will be here in a few days.
My wife took Katie to a violin concert this evening so I put Bobby to bed. It’s always a bit of a challenge as he wants Maple to sleep with him, but Maple fusses with his leg positioning and blankets so it’s not till she leaves that he actually gets settled into bed and falls asleep.
