Day #4926 (Sun., July 2, 2023) – Aldi Wing Bone
We were out of cheese for the kid’s “Veggie Chicken Burgers”, so I went to Aldi for supplies this morning. While there I picked up a “Wing Bone” for Maple (see photo to the left). She was wary of it at first, but eventually got the hang of it. Having said that, she still didn’t take to it like I thought she would. When Maple went to Bobby’s bed in the evening Ginger started to eat it, so we’re going to have to put Ginger out of the house when Maple is away.
My wife took the kids swimming this morning. They took the squirt guns that I picked up at Aldi the other day and shared them with a couple of other boys. Luckily the “thieves”, the other kids who go through your stuff, were not there. The thing about these kids that is the most shocking is that they will come up and tell you that they stole something from you and are not even aware that this is bad…
This afternoon we started to watch the movie “Kindergarten Cop” with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Katie had to leave for her art class so we’ll have to finish it tomorrow.
Ethan is in West Virginia visiting family, so Bobby played on his iPad with Brin today.
