Day #4930 (Thu., July 6, 2023) – Wet & Wild Waterpark
My wife took the kids to “Wet & Wild” (see photo to the left), a waterpark in Greensboro today. With two knee replacements it would have been tough on daddy to get up and down and go on the rides, so I stayed home and organized some of my boxes. Just me and Maple today!
My wife told me that Katie and her would size up the rides and figure out which ones that they wanted to go on, while Bobby was pretty well game for them all. He’s such a daredevil!
When we were driving home from the arcade yesterday we noticed that there was an Olive Garden on the way. Katie has always expressed a desire to go to Olive Garden so I thought they might stop off on the way home today, but they were all tired and eager to get home. Another time. I could have picked up a Red Baron pizza for them when they got home but I didn’t…I was so sure that they would stop off at the Olive Garden.
I joked with the kids this evening by saying that I was going to the pool and asking if they were interested in coming. The reply was a resounding “NO”. They have had enough of water for one day, and in fact, they might not be eager to go to Clark Pool tomorrow either.
