I picked up Bobby from “Cosmic Camp” a bit earlier today, around 11:45 am at his request. Apparently all his friends leave early from camp, so he doesn’t want to stick around. On the drive home he told me that they made a bird feeder today out of a huge pine cone, some nut butter, and some bird seeds. I told him that my mother used to feed the birds and that they loved “black tar sunflower seeds”.
After dropping Bobby off I went to get some groceries. I picked up two gallons of milk today. The idea is that with this method we will already have a gallon of milk on hand. Once one gallon is gone, I will go band buy another gallon while the kids finish off the other gallon. In this way, the kids should always have some milk for their cereal in the morning.
Ginger loves to come over to our house and rest during the day. Unfortunately, she has outgrown the dog bed (see photo to the right).
This evening the my wife, Katie and I watched a YouTube video on purchase pallets of returned goods from Amazon. We learned that there is a return center in Sidney, near the airport on Vancouver Island. It’s amazing how when you return something to Amazon it’s cheaper to just sell the whole lot at a discount rather than try to repackage it and sell it again.
These YouTube videos morphed into watching a few about the Kennedy assassination. Katie had quite a few questions. We even watched a video of the Zapruder film.
