Day #4982 (Sun., Aug. 27, 2023) – Board Games
Katie was invited over to Henry’s place this afternoon to play board games. I picked up Tinsley at her home first, then drove over to Henry’s. We went to Tinsley’s door as she didn’t see us drive up. I talked to her father a bit. He’s a surgeon at Duke. Henry lives hear Lowe’s. Katie told us this evening that one of the games they played is the “Sushi Game“.
My wife took Bobby to the Clark Pool this afternoon for one of the last swim sessions of the year. Ethan was there, and after swimming for a bit, they went to the playground, then back to the pool. This made for quite a long afternoon. Even then, once Bobby got home he got online to play with Ethan some more.
The photo to the right shows the “Brown Cow Delight” that the family loves. The kids have exclaimed that they like it even more than the “Moose Tracks” ice cream we get.
I went to Aldi this afternoon for some snacks for Bobby’s lunch. He’s grown tired of the chocolate dipped bars he loved so much last year, so I got a few different ones for him to try. I also picked up some mandarin oranges and some potato chips.
Katie came bounding out of her room this evening. She learned that Murren is not in any of her classes this year.
