Day #4994 (Fri., Sept. 8, 2023) – Eye I Mean Ear Drops!
Both kids are home sick again today. Bobby woke up crying and so my wife took him to the doctor. He has an ear infection. We kind of realized it last night when my wife touched his ear and he started crying from the pain.
The doctor made a mistake and sent a prescription for eye drops instead of ear drops so that had to be changed. Go figure!
This afternoon I stopped off at Trader Joe’s for supplies. With Bobby in such pain I wanted to get the six-pack of yogurt tubs that he loves so much. Alas, they were out again, but I learned from the checkout guy that they have a small order of them that comes in every morning. So, I will go to the gym after dropping Bobby off at Glenwood, go to the gym for a quick workout, and then stop off at TJ’s for the yogurt cups on the way home.
My wife dropped off the form we filled out last night so that Bobby will be able to test for his yellow belt a week from tomorrow. On the way home she spotted a rainbow at the entrance of where we live (see photo to the right).
My wife, Katie, and Bobby are doing art together via the video series that Katie is following. Each painted a tree in front of clouds. I was planning to as well, but I’m so consumed with learning about the “Law of Attraction” right now my heart isn’t in it.
