Day #5011 (Mon., Sept. 25, 2023) – Van Car Wash
My wife went to a work conference at the Carolina Inn today, so I took care of the kids for most of the day. They are off of school as it is a “Teacher Work Day”. It’s kind of a strange name don’t you think? It implies that teachers don’t work during the other days… 🙂
Today was effectively Daddy/Daughter Day #136, as Katie is calling the shots today. For starters, we went to the car wash on 15-501 so that the van could get cleaned up (see photo to the right). Katie has expressed her embarrassment that it needs a good cleaning, so today is the day.
We then decided to go to Chick-Fil-A. Bobby is no longer a vegetarian, so he had the grilled chicken meal and Katie had some waffle fries.
We then stopped off at the local church so Bobby could have a good ride on his scooter. Katie did some running and we all looked for coins.
