Day #5021 (Thu., Oct. 5, 2023) – Jumping On A Dummy!

After dropping Bobby off at Glenwood this morning I went to Trader Joe’s for groceries. I picked up some French bread for Katie and it was mostly gone by the end of the day!

My wife went to get some broccoli at Trader Joe’s this morning as well. She is using it to teach about fractals at Bobby’s class today and tomorrow.

Bobby’s bus was quite late today. Apparently they had to drop off some extra kids today as their bus was in the shop. It was coming close to our stop, and just passed Flyleaf Books when it went back up Hillsborough Street to drop some more more kids! By the time I picked up Bobby and drove him home we had only 30 minutes to eat and get ready for martial arts class.

Bobby really enjoyed martial arts class this evening as they brought a boxing dummy out and the kids got to run and jump on it (see photo to the right). One this about this particular martial arts dojo is that they seem to have something new and exciting to do at each lesson.

This evening I talked to Katie a bit about her dream home. She is dreaming of having an artist studio near her bedroom, but it might be better to have a separate building so as to not breathe in all those paint fumes.
