Day #5029 (Fri., Oct. 13, 2023) – Flight To Toronto
We had an Uber booked for 3:30 am this morning, but they didn’t show up, so my wife picked me up and I drove her to the airport. When I got home it was still dark outside, and I took this interesting photo of Maple waiting at the door (see photo to the right). I think due to the low light conditions it looked like an oil painting. Interesting, eh?
Both kids are home sick today, so no need to drop them of or pick them up from school or events. Rather than go to Panera Bread, or anywhere else for that matter, I decided to stay at home in case my car broke down, or “whatever”. At least I would be home with the kids….
The kids took Maple out for a walk today. Other than the walk, Maple mostly sits by the door waiting for mom to return when she is away.
The kids and I started to watch the movie “We Have A Ghost” this evening. It was late, so we had to cut it off at the half way point so that I could put Bobby to bed.
