Day #5039 (Mon., Oct. 23, 2023) – Towing The Van
With the van at Lloyd’s Tire yet again, we are a one car family yet again today. The Camry to the rescue!
I’m not feeling well this morning so it was my turn to go to see the doctor. The nurse did a “swab” and sent the test away to see if I have COVID. She also prescribed an enhaler, but we later found out that insurance did not cover it and it would cost $500. Forget that!
I picked up Bobby at Spence’s Farm this evening. He was playing with the fire that the staff made when I arrived. No sign of his rainbow water bottle in lost and found. We had to be quick as the van broke down in Hillsborough as we were on a mission to pick up my wife and Katie.
The plan was for Katie and my wife to go on a hike in Hillsborough after school today, but the van broke down yet again!. Outside the Hillsborough Walmart today, so I had to go get them. In the end, I took Katie back home in the Camry while my wife called AAA for a tow (see photo to the right) and drove with the van to the drop off point, Lloyd’s Tire.
There was a Subway near the Walmart, so it was subs for the kids for dinner tonight.
