Day #5044 (Sat., Oct. 28, 2023) – Trunk or Treat

As of yesterday Katie has been to school for 10 days! The kids in her class were keeping track and this was a milestone… 🙂

I set up Katie with Bing so that she can use AI to help her to develop themes and plots for her short stories.

Today was a busy day for Bobby. He went to violin practice this morning, and then to soccer practice this afternoon. Luckily for Bobby he was not a goalie when they scored on his team (Damien was).

Later in the afternoon Bobby went to a Halloween celebration at Spence’s Farm, and then to the “Trunk or Treat” at the Community Park on Estes (see photo to the left). I dropped my wife and him off at the park and came back to pick them up.

For some reason the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” movie is streaming on Peacock, so we let Katie watch it to see if it was too scary for Bobby. She was actually quite disappointed in it as it didn’t really keep to the story. I told her that Stephen King was disappointed in the movie adaptation of his book “The Shining”. At any rate, she did feel that it would be okay for Bobby to watch it, so I will have a Daddy/Son Day for him tomorrow with watching this movie a key component.
