Day #5050 (Fri., Nov. 3, 2023) – Glenwood PJ Day!
Today is PJ Day at Glenwood and Bobby wanted to leave early because of it. You can see him in the photo to the right. On some days he doesn’t like to have his picture taken…today was one of those days… 🙂
On the way to school I told him how in the “olden days” there used to be one piece underwear, like a skin diver suit, that people would put on with a trap door in the back held up by two buttons. He figured out what it was for! It’s so when you go to the outhouse in the cold you don’t need to take all your clothes off to do your business.
As soon as I dropped Bobby off the van door started to beep. It beeped all the way home, even when I stopped off at Panera Bread for a cup of coffee. My wife said that she noticed this has been happening as of late.
Katie is home sick today.
I picked up Bobby at Glenwood this afternoon. Van door is still beeping. On the drive home he told me that they had three parties today as the PJ’s they were wearing was such a hit. I guess his English teacher did wear pj’s but his Chinese math teacher did not. He also mentioned that he had chicken nuggets for lunch.
As we were driving home there was a sign in front of Cane’s saying that it is opening in 5 days.
