Day #5051 (Sat., Nov. 4, 2023) – Meredith’s Concert
I was not feeling well so I stayed home the whole day.
My wife took Katie and Bobby to viola/violin class this morning, and then to Hillsborough for their second year of ice skating lessons. I had two pizzas ready for them when they arrived home.
Later today my wife took the kids to a park off Estes where Meredith, our neighbor, was giving a free concert with her band (see photo to the right). They went for an hour, and were going to repeat the set for the second hour. They left after the first hour. There was a food truck there and Katie had nachos (which she didn’t care for since I saw them in the fridge), and Bobby had tacos (which he didn’t care for because we told me). Unfortunately this came to about $25, as food truck food is not cheap.
The tiny hand blender for coffee and hot chocolate drinks in the kitchen broke, so my wife took the one that I had in my room. I don’t really use it much anymore anyway.
