Day #5075 (Tue., Nov. 28, 2023) – Bobby Makes Pizza
Bobby and Katie are both home sick today. Daddy is not feeling well either. My wife is up and about doing stuff.
Bobby came to see me this afternoon to see if I had the cookbook I made last summer. I told him Katie had it. He promptly took it and used one of the recipes to make pizza for the family. He didn’t realize that I had instructions in the cookbook on how to use the oven, so he asked his mother, but other than that, everything went well. He figured out that the timer is magnetic and will stick to the oven (see photo to the left).
I started to work on the Advent calendars this afternoon. I don’t have Photoshop on this new computer, so I downloaded Gimp, which is free, to do my editing. Since the instructions and interface are totally different it was a slog, but I figured it out after a few hours.
It’s 10:44 pm and I just placed the order for the two Advent calendar covers at Staples. They will be able to pick up tomorrow!
