Day #5098 (Thu., Dec. 21, 2023) – New Cat Tree
You can see Batman enjoying the view from the new cat tree in the photo to the right. He’s able to relax there and enjoy life away from the ravages of Maple! He’s very independent though! My wife tried to place him up there on the top shelf and got a nice fresh scratch as a result!
Bobby will show up and my door from time to time with his Rubik’s Cube and mention that he messed it up and wants me to fix it for him. I’m not entirely sure why he doesn’t want to just learn the algorithms himself. I even put them all in a Word document if he wants to learn them.
The place is gradually getting cleaner and cleaner. Katie even remarked that she feels comfortable now having Tinsley and Leah over. Leah has mentioned that she wants to come over to see the show “Percy Jackson” as we have Disney+, and she doesn’t, and there is a specific show that she wants to watch. If she does come over I’ll make a trip to Aldi and get some snacks that they will like.
We were thinking that Bobby might want to go to martial arts class this evening, but he is still not 100%. Maybe after Christmas we can get back into our “normal schedule” free of sickness…
I felt like taking in a movie this evening, so I went to Silver Spot to see “Godzilla Minus One”. Pretty good show. The critics agreed.
