Day #5103 (Tue., Dec. 26, 2023) – Boxing Day
It’s Boxing Day today for those of you from the Bristish Iles and Commonwealth!
My wife went to the Dollar Store with Katie and picked up a plastic container to store bread. It was such a great size that she asked me to pick up another one when I went out this afternoon (see photo to the right).
Arnesa and Ayra and Ensar come over for Christmas Dinner this evening. Dzenen is still in Bosnia. We had a nice turkey dinner around the dining room table, and then opened gifts. Ayra received a “fairy” Lego set and Ensar received a “Marble Run” game. My wife let them open the “Marble Run” game on the living room floor but asked Ayra to wait to open her Lego set at home in case some pieces went missing. While they were here, we watched some YouTube videos about the good Christmas times we had in previous years.
I made some oatmeal & applesauce cookies in the air fryer this evening. Delish! My new secret find!
This evening Katie and I watched YouTube videos about Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s romance on the television in the living room. It’s looking more and more like they are really serious.
