Day #5104 (Wed., Dec. 27, 2023) – Ethan Comes Over
I got a notice that my retirement is going up 3.2% due to the cost of living! It’s a Festivus Miracle! (Katie hates it when I say this, she doesn’t care for Seinfeld).
Ethan came over to play with Bobby this afternoon with the Christmas Card he made for him (see photo to the right). It was raining so they stayed inside most of the time. Ethan got a Nintendo Switch for Christmas, and this is what they wanted to play, but my wife didn’t want them to spend any time playing online. They played the battleship game for a bit, and I offered to teach Ethan the Rubik’s Cube, but he was not interested. Soon his mother came and picked him up.
Katie was not feeling well this afternoon, so she went to bed. This evening we talked a bit about Taylor Swift & Travis Kelcey’s romance, and how they are already taking stats on his performance since the romance began. I guess he is 3-4 in game wins since the romance started…
I made some oatmeal & banana cookies in the air fryer this evening.
This evening I finished putting up a new theme for my Baby-Comments website. The old theme, Catalyst, is no longer supported, and the latest PHP version will not support it. I settled on the “Grid Blogwaves” theme for now, as it has post offsets, but it’s not ideal…just yet… I need to customize it some more.
