Day #5148 (Fri., Feb. 9, 2024) – The Adventures of Tin Tin
Tomorrow, which is Saturday, is Chinese New Year, so the kids are off school today. Not to let a good holiday go to waste, low and behold, yet another “Teacher Work Day”, so the kids are off again. No complaints from them…
Bobby and I had Daddy/Son Day #74 today. I gave him a list of options as to what we could do. We could take his scooter out for a spin, create those matchhead rockets I saw in a YouTube video, etc. He opted to go to McDonald’s for his “Two Cheeseburger Meal” (and an ice cream as you can see in the photo to the left) and come back and watch the movie “The Adventures of TinTin” via Paramount+ on the television set in the bedroom. We were remarking how good the quality was…we thought it was released in 2024, but it is a 2011 movie!
In order to keep his fruit punch from spilling on the bed, I gave Bobby a roll of duct tape. The fruit punch drink from McDonalds fits perfectly inside the hole. A bowl for the fries, and another small bowl for the ketchup and you’re good to go!
Katie and Leah went shopping on Franklin Street this afternoon. They went to Epilogue Books to look around, and had a drink at Starbucks as well. You can see Katie in a cowboy outfit in the image to the right, but special note…she did not buy it!
