Day #5161 (Thu., Feb. 22, 2024) – Signed Cast

I drove Bobby to Glenwood this morning. We chatted about NVDA’s quarterly report last night, and how much it has gone up. I told him that if he gets a job he should invest some of his money into long term growth stocks and he will be rich by the time he gets out of school.

I went to Aldi this afternoon for groceries. Katie has requested deli chicken, so I guess she’s a “sometimes” vegetarian now. I got some Pringles for Bobby as well.

My wife picked up Katie at school today. She sent a text earlier in the day asking for examples of the differences between Canadian and American schools.

Since Bobby was going to Spence’s Farm, I didn’t need to go to the bus stop, and instead picked him up there at 5:30 pm this evening. He was talking to Lucas, the only other boy there, when I arrived. The kids at school signed his cast today (see photo to the left).

His mother made him some pizza along with a bottle of milk to enjoy on the drive home. Bobby told me that he had home lunch today. There was another kid in his class who broke another limb, and had kids sign his cat, but Bobby could not remember if it was his arm or his wrist. Ethan broke his toe as well when he “stubbed” it. Since Bobby has a cast on his arm he doesn’t need to take a bath when he gets home from Spence’s Farm, so he was happy about that.
