Day #5190 (Fri., Mar. 22, 2024) – Cast Removal
I didn’t need to take Bobby to school this morning as his mother took him to have his cast removed (see photo to the left). Moving his fingers, and even going to martial arts class is good for him, but he is not to have ice skating lessons for a while.
Kate Middleton came out with a video today announcing that she has cancer!
My wife and I called up various insurance companies around Courtenay today. We need a quote for our new house. RBC came back and our mortgage is “Totally Approved” now that their appraiser’s job has been completed.
I picked up Katie at school today and this evening I dropped her and her mom off on Franklin Street so that she could get her ears “re-pierced”. Bobby and I went to the Franklin Street McDonalds, had a meal, and played some chess to wait for them.
Bobby had a nice soak in the tub this evening. She loves baths but has only had one since he got his cast. This was the “Famous Bath” where his cast was covered by a garbage bag so that it would not get wet.
This evening my wife and I talked to a mover in Vancouver about the best way to move our belongings to Canada. He’s originally from Portugal.
