Day #5198 (Sat., Mar. 30, 2024) – Walking Franklin

My wife took Katie to viola class while I stayed home with Bobby. Bobby’s cast is off now, but it will still be a while before he can play the violin.

After viola class, my wife took Katie and Leah to ice skating class. She then dropped them off on Franklin Street where they walked all the way to the consignment store in Carrboro and back. They had lunch at Starbucks.

Bobby has been helping out with the shredding (see photo to the left). I made him two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch.

This afternoon I went to Aldi for groceries. I was going to get chocolate candies for Bobby, as he wants to have an Easter egg hunt tomorrow, but my wife picked some of these up this afternoon. Katie wants to help out with the egg hunt for Bobby, so it’s kind of a passing of the baton from me to Katie in this regard. She packed the eggs and with the template of the house map I gave her placed indicators on where the eggs would be. She then put the eggs out in the yard, ready for Bobby tomorrow.

Arnesa stopped by today to pick up some of the clothes that my wife is giving away. She had long reach so she was able to get and take down the HUGE photo of Katie and Bobby on the wall to the basement.
