Day #5208 (Tue., Apr. 9, 2024) – Mangoes & Seaweed
Both kids went to school today. I dropped Bobby off at Glenwood and my wife dropped Katie off at Phillips.
I picked up Bobby at the bus stop this afternoon while my wife picked up Katie. Bobby had two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches when we got home, and a bowl of the fresh mango that I got at Aldi the other day (see photo to the left).
Bobby had a choice of tacos or nachos for lunch today. He chose the soft tacos as they have less cheese than nachos!
My wife took the kids to viola and violin class this afternoon. Katie usually has a double lesson, and will be giving a performance soon. Bobby’s wrist has not totally healed, and he struggled a bit, but he made it through. It will get stronger and stronger with time.
I stopped off at Aldi this evening for groceries. Katie has expressed a desire for seaweed. I asked one of the workers and they sometimes get it in stock, but not always. I think I will stop off at Trader Joe’s tomorrow as I know that they usually carry it. I’ll also get some mascarpone cheese for my wife, as it seems to be hit & miss at Aldi for this item for some reason.
