Day #5209 (Wed., Apr. 10, 2024) – Spence’s Farm Cancelled
I dropped Bobby off at Glenwood this morning. We saw some students having their picture taken by the UNC “old well”, and I mentioned to Bobby how this was customary as it is such a symbol of the University. After dropping Bobby off I went to Panera Bread for a “light brew” (black).
Bobby was going to go to Spence’s Farm after school today, but apparently a number of their counsellors were sick, so it was cancelled. As a result, I picked him up at the bus stop at 3pm this afternoon while my wife went and picked up Katie.
The kids really like the little ice cream tubs that I picked up at Aldi yesterday (see photo to the right). When I gave one to Bobby this afternoon he tried to put his spoon through the top, not realizing that it was card board, not ice cream… 🙂
Tonight I showed Katie some of the drawings that I did back when I was a teenager. She especially liked some of my black & white sketches, like the one shown in the photo to the left.
