Day #5218 (Fri., Apr. 19, 2024) – Cupcakes & Flowers
Today is another “Teacher Work Day”, so the kids are off school today. This might very well be the last “Teacher Work Day” we have before leaving to Courtenay. I wonder if they have such an animal there? I don’t remember ever having one when I was in school.
My wife took the kids to viola and violin class today. The picked up Subway sandwiches on the way home.
My new hardshell acoustic guitar case came today. I’m going to put my Takamine in it as it is more expensive.
NVDA stock tanked today! Down 10%! I sure hope the upcoming stock split and earnings in late May, will boost it up to over $1000 per share!
This evening I went to Aldi and Harris-Teeter to pick up flowers and cupcakes for Katie’s viola recital tomorrow. The flowers at Harris-Teeter are too expensive, and the cupcakes at Aldi are practically nonexistent, so I went to both. Along with a bouquet of flowers, I picked up one tray of chocolate mini-cupcakes, one tray of vanilla mini-cupcakes, and two trays of cookies & cream mini-cupcakes (see photo to the right)..
