Day #5228 (Mon., Apr. 29, 2024) – Last Day At Spence’s Farm
On the drive to Glenwood this morning Bobby and I talked about the difference between hurricanes and cyclones and how they swirled in different directions. I also mentioned that the water goes down the drain in Australia in the different direction than it does here in the US. This lead to a discussion about Black Holes and the “Event Horizon”.
I picked up Katie at school today so that my wife could spend more time packing. After dropping her off I went to Planet Fitness for a back workout, which seems to be really helping.
Today was Bobby’s last day at Spence’s Farm. The photo to the left shows the sign on their property. When I arrived Bobby was talking to Penny, the daughter of one of the counsellors, who also goes to Spence’s Farm.
We will need to find a camp like Spence’s Farm in Courtenay for Bobby. My wife signed Katie and him up for viola & violin camp already.
We are in the process of determining what we will be taking in the van to Courtenay. Two violins and a Les Paul guitar are definite…
