Day #5235 (Mon., May 6, 2024) – Tree Swing Down!
I took the tree swing down this morning (see photo to the right). Now to pack it up and get it ready for it’s new home in Courtenay. I took a photo of the hill… if we can’t find a hill like this maybe we can recreate it.
We learned that the truck will be here at 9am on Wednesday, so we won’t have any time on Wednesday to pack. Everything will need to be done by Wednesday morning. The guy asked me about the AT&T wire over the driveway, so I went out side with the tree saw and measured it. 12 ½ feet tall. A bit too low for the truck so we called up AT&T to see if they could raise it.
The guy from AT&T brought his truck over and “heightened” the wire at the end of our driveway. Good. The downside of this was that I could not get into the house after picking Bobby up at the bus stop. So, I asked Bobby what he wanted to do, and we went to Wendy’s so that he could try their new Orange Dreamsicle Frosty (see photo to the left). We talked about Ethan, and making friends in Courtenay, so we’ll call this Daddy/Son Chat Day #10.
Katie helped my wife pack up some of the kitchen supplies this evening. The moving truck arrives at 9am on Wednesday, so it won’t be long now!
