Day #5275 – (Sat., June 15, 2024) – Husky Utility Cart!
I went to Pharmasave this afternoon and picked up some large yellow envelopes for my air fryer and lawnmower instruction books. I also picked up some yellow highlighters to “highlight” important areas of the manuals. I will store these manuals in the large yellow envelopes in the drawer directly across from the fridge in the “Barn Suite”.
On the way home I picked up a utility cart for all the grass clippings we will be generating with all the mowing we will be doing (see photo to the right). They will then be carted away to create a compost pile. We already have some cardboard in the garage that needs to be shredded to add to this pile. I saw a YouTube channel on how to do it. The plan is to have Bobby help me with the yard work… we’ll see how that works out!
While at Home Depot I picked up some wire to fix the chicken coop. Problem solved! No birds are going to be flying into the chicken coop from now on, at least through that opening. On the way upstairs I picked up some wayward clothespins…I plan to do a wash and hang them out on our clothesline.
This evening I made a chopped steak in my new air fryer. I added a bit of “Louisiana Hot Sauce” to it, and had a beer. Delish!
This evening the family had pizza together in the main house for dinner. A bit of the cake that Katie made yesterday and some ice cream for dessert. I learned that Bobby likes the white of hard boiled eggs, but not the yellow!
This evening I:
- Washed the dishes.
- Organized the utensil drawer.
- Did the laundry and put the washed clothes out on the clothesline to dry overnight (see photo to the right).
- Signed up for Scene+ (a Thrifty Foods discount card).
This evening the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Florida Panthers 8-1, so they are still alive! Florida still has a 3-1 game lead in the series though.
