I sold $20,000 of NVDA stock and sent it to my wife to pay for this month’s and next month’s mortgage and “other” expenses. Thanks NVDA for giving us the change to purchase this wonderful property!
Only one egg today! The photo to the left shows the chicken not sure of what to make of my taking it!

My wife and Katie went out shopping this morning. They ventured to “Bulk Barn” and bought a number of supplies that they used to stock the shelves in our new pantry (see photo to the right).
An interesting thing happened at Home Depot today. I went into the store to pick up a chain saw to cut the tree that has “ruined” our back yard fence and hence allowing deer to get onto our property. Well, I planned to get a Ryobi rechargeable chain saw that would use the same battery as our lawn mower, but this lead down the road of a DeWalt chain saw being only $10 more… Not only that, but they had a sale on drills where if you bought a drill set and battery (at a discount), you would also get a another tool for free. I got a reciprocating saw as I don’t have one of these. I asked “Roger” the guy in the tool department what I could use it for, and he said cutting various things, including trees… Well, this lead to the discussion of how thick the trees could be, and he indicated about as thick as your head… He even showed me the blade to use. Well, this kind of means that I don’t need a chain saw anymore, right? At least for one or two trees as apparently a chain saw would be nice if you have a lot of trees to cut down. So, I didn’t get a chain saw today, but I might come back and get one at some point in the future. Hmmm… Looks like I might have saved some money with this purchase?

As I was exiting the Walmart parking lot later today, I saw a soccer ball (see photo to the right) on the side of the road. Nobody was anywhere near it, or I would have returned it. I took it home with me and my wife is going to see if anyone on the Mother’s Club might own it…
I also picked up Bobby’s iPad at the repair station near Walmart. It cost over $100, and as usual, it is due to the loose connection port. The repair guy said that this is “ALWAYS” caused by playing with the iPad while it is recharging. We told Bobby about this and he is going to unplug it before playing with it from now on.

In closing today’s post I wanted to mention the “yet another” solution to the problem of securing the cooler to Katie’s bike. I purchased a 48″ bungee cord when I was at Home Depot. This is the largest one that they had available, and it seems to be doing quite well (see photo to the left). At least that’s the view from the shop. Let’s see what happens when Katie takes it out for a ride…
