Day #5381 – (Sun., Sept. 29, 2024) – Second Coat Of Paint!
The photo to the right shows the duffle bag that we bought for Bobby’s “sparring” equipment. Now he has a handy way to carry it all to martial arts class.
Bobby was feeling bad that our neighbor’s puppy was all alone in the house so he took his iPad over to spend some time with it. I guess it’s a very excitable puppy and will jump all over you, but eventually calms down and just wants to be cuddled. You can see Bobby paying with it in the photo to the left. Looks like an Airdale don’t you think?
In regards to the garage my wife and I managed to put the second coat of paint on the ceiling and walls this afternoon. The paint sprayer “conked out” on the last wall, but we were able to make it work. We might have to do some touch ups here and there, but for the most part the painting is done. Now to do the trim work, with should be a challenge all in itself.
Katie is having a really rough time these days. She misses her friends back in Chapel Hill. If she wasn’t sick for the past week or so I’m sure she would have built up a lot more relationships here in Courtenay.
