Today is “National Day For Truth & Reconciliation” here in Canada, so no school. Both kids are home.
My wife and I did a little bit of “touch up” to the paint job on the ceiling and walls of the garage today. I cleaned the nozzles of the spray guns, but since we are so low on paint we opted to use the roller tray. There are still some streaks on the ceiling, but I think that this is due to the fact that light is streaming in from the garage doors being gone.
Anthony is coming next Monday and Tuesday to put the outlets on the garage and turn the power on. The garage doors will be installed next Tuesday too. We only have the trim to be done, but if we don’t get to it, it can wait till after they do their work.

I took Katie to orchestra practice at the little church in Comox (see photo to the left) and then came home. My wife picked her up an hour and a half later. She was not too happy about going I might add… She wanted to stay home and do homework instead.
Bobby spent a lot of the day playing online with Ethan. Sounds like Ethan has recovered from COVID.
We’re thinking more and more what a great place the garage would be to watch movies. We could shine the projector on the white walls, and get a popcorn popper and fridge for refreshments. If we had movie night outside we would always be subject to the elements, but that is not a problem here in the garage.
Bobby has stopped asking his mother to tuck him in and sleep with him at night. She will just read him a story, and he will turn on his music, and go to bed by himself.
