Day #5423 – (Sun., Nov. 10, 2024) – Venom “The Last Dance” Movie
I took Bobby to see the 3:15 showing of “Venom” today (see photo to the right) for Daddy/Son Day #88. I guess that you can call this “back to back” Daddy/Son Days!
There were plenty of tickets yesterday, so I didn’t worry about getting seats, but by today, perhaps because it was raining, the place was almost full. I managed to get the last two seats together, at the front row, on the far right.
Bobby saw a few of his school friends at the theater, but they were going to see the movie “The Wild Robot”. Bobby expressed an interest in seeing this movie next.
Going to a movie these days is definitely not cheap. The two tickets came to $20, and his combo meal came to about $15 and mine came to about $25… So $60 to see a show… I remember when I first came to the US in 1995, I could see a matinee in the middle of the day for $5! Inflation I guess…
I measured the trout that Bobby caught yesterday and it came to about 13″ (see photo to the left)… Nice!
My wife took Katie to two artisan fairs this afternoon. Katie’s friend Annika went as well. Annika’s mom dropped her off. My wife got to meet Annika, Katie’s best friend, for the first time today!
This evening I went to the “Real Canadian Superstore” for groceries as we were out of milk. It was raining like crazy!
