Day #5424 – (Mon., Nov. 11, 2024) – Remembrance Day!
This is the kids’ first Canadian Remembrance Day! No school today!
Katie spent quite a bit of time organizing her thumbnails on her new YouTube channel. She’s been seeing a spurt of subscribers so that is motivating her to keep on. She asked us for our opinion and most of us prefer the blue background to the black background for the thumbnail you can see in the photo to the right.
Katie told me that she yelled at Bobby today as he gets carried away on his iPad and starts yelling, which is very distracting.
I spent the day organizing the “Barn Suite”. I decided to keep the various containers for types of recycling in the storage area off the “Barn Suite”. Now it’s “out of the day”, but still within easy access if I want to throw something out.
I finally got the chance to try out the microwave that I picked up at Walmart the other day. Works like a charm, and the silicone popcorn popper just fits inside it’s 0.7 opening. Next up, move the fridge from the barn to the garage, put the microwave on top, set up the projector, and enjoy some movies!
