Day #5460 – (Tue., Dec. 17, 2024) – Fun Dip!
Katie went to school today but Bobby is home sick.
The kids got “Fun Dip” in their Advent Calendar today.
The photo to the right shows the “Pink Moon Cafe”, effectively a little trailer in front of a garden center down the road. I thought I would share it as I think it looks pretty cool in the rain as the sun goes down. I’ve never been there but Katie said she had a lemonade there once and it was nothing special. Not a very powerful endorsement I might add…
With the washer in the main house “on the blink”, we have been washing and drying clothes in the “Barn Suite”. The repair guy is supposed to come and fix the washer in the main house on Friday.
The photo to the left shows Bobby drifting off to sleep with Maple.
My wife inquired and we received a note back from Carolyn that she never received Katie’s note… She’s been busy tending to her ill son who has cancer.
This evening Katie tried out various video concepts for the new channel she is creating. It will be about her adventures as a teenager moving from the United States to Canada!
Katie also had her online business class and learned about stocks!
I guess it snows quite a bit on Mount Washington, so it looks like we might need to get chains on at least one of our vehicles when we start taking the kids there next month for skiing lessons. Better to be safe than sorry…
