Day #5498 – (Fri., Jan. 24, 2025) – No More Board Games Class
Bobby’s back is bothering him so he stayed home from school today. Katie went as this is the last day for her current class schedule… No more board games class as of today… Next week she will be taking guitar class!
I’m wondering if we should get a big freezer and put it in the garage for Costco food for when the Trump tariffs and Canada’s response kicks in…
We have a new clock for the upstairs bathroom (see photo to the left).
My wife mentioned that yesterday Katie played “The Two Grenadiers” at Daisy’s viola class. She said that Daisy almost fainted with happiness and was in awe of Katie’s playing. Daisy was accompanying her and I guess it was such a lovely duet.
I went to Costco this evening to get some fixings for some Instant Pot vegetable soup. While there I picked up a hot dog and sundae for Katie and Bobby. I also picked up some “Dairy Milk” milk chocolate bars for Katie. She was complaining that the ones I got her last time had some nuts and fruit in them and didn’t care for them. Just pure chocolate this time!
