A while back the “Doo Wop” show got deleted from our TiVo, but PBS had a rebroadcast this morning. We make sure that our TiVo recorded it again. Katie loved seeing those songs again…

When we look at Katie and see how much she is into music and dancing we wonder what the next phase is going to be like. It is doubtful that she will lose interest in these things, so to what level will she take this interest? Time will tell.
My wife has sent some video of Katie dancing to our friend in Charlotte. She is amazed at what a good dancer she is at such an early age. She said that we will have to find a dancing school soon. I guess that they start accepting kids around 2 years old. Where in the world did Katie ever get this love of dance? Neither my wife or I are dancers…
This afternoon Katie and I splashed around in the pool with all her various water toys. I took out some bubble blowing liquid and blew some bubbles for her. She didn’t really care for them much while they were flying threw the air, but once they landed some would stick around and she enjoyed breaking them.
We went to a nearby park near Lochmere this afternoon. We find the Katie is a bit easier to handle if she gets out and about during the day. She is fearless! She would climb up the stairs and down the slide with reckless abandon. She always seems game for a new piece of equipment. The ball park was free so we took the ball out there and kicked it around a bit. She enjoyed having such a huge space to roam around. It was almost too big…she didn’t know what to do with it.
On the way home we stopped off at Dixie Chicken in Apex for a takeout of hickory/bbq chicken, potato salad, and cole slaw. My wife noticed clippings on the wall where they won various prizes.
A bit further on the way home we stopped off at the fruit and vegetable stand to get some blueberries, peaches, and tomatoes.
