Katie was “squeaking” this morning so I could not fall asleep. Around 4am I was so exhausted that I fell asleep. At least I’m able to help my wife out a bit by taking care of Katie in the night time. She will be soon done her PhD if all goes well.
Off to Trader Joe’s for supplies this afternoon. Goat’s milk for Katie. I also picked up some more “tick” (i.e.: stickers for Katie at Wal-Mart).
This evening my mother-in-law and I took Katie to the playground near Bond Park. Soon a lawnmower zoomed by and Katie was so interested that my mother-in-law took her down the path for a look. We then decided to stroll down to see the local girls team practice baseball (see photo to the right). Katie was very interested and sat in the stand quietly and watched them practice…at first. She then decided that daddy would want to have some samples of sand on the other end of the park, so she strolled over to pick some up and bring it back to daddy (she did the 4 times). She then brought a couple of samples to a girl who sat beside me. When she wandered over to the dugout and picked up a softball and brought it back to daddy I knew that it was time to leave.
