Day #635 (Fri., Sept 30, 2011) – Barney & Friends
I taped an episode of “Barney & Friends” on our TiVo and Katie and I watched it this evening. She liked it more than I thought she would.
The photo to the right shows a Bible Dominoes game that my wife picked up for Katie at a recent consignment sale. Even though she is a bit too young for it right now she will grow into it. It’s better to get it now while it is cheap and available. I told my wife to keep her eyes open for a game called “CandyLand”. It is very popular here in the US and seems to be the first board game that most children learn to play.
This evening Katie was playing with her shoes. This is a sign that she wants to put them on and go out to the park, but it was raining this evening so we had to stay inside. She ended up pouring some milk into them…not the best idea. She then did something really peculiar. She put one of the shoes on the couch and as she stood on the floor she put one of her legs up onto the couch and tried to put her foot into the shoe. Talk about flexible…never thought I would see anything like that.
