Day #688 (Tue., Nov 22, 2011) – “Sleeping On Cheerios”
Last night Katie was having a snack of cheerios and raisins on our bed. I was so exhausted last night that I didn’t have time to clear them all off. As a result, daddy slept on cheerios last night. At least it is better than sleeping on “green beans”…now that was quite the experience…
Katie loves to be outdoors. In the photo to the left you can see her scanning over her domain.
Katie dragged out the extension cord today and put it up to her ear and said “hello”. She was pretending it was a phone. I got ahold of my cell phone and pretended that I was talking to her on it. She loved it.
This evening I showed my wife how to make a set of telephones out of a couple of disposable plastic cups and some twine. Katie was “somewhat” interested in them…but more interested in the twine. We decided that we would hide them after tonight as we don’t want things like twine around that she might become entangled in.
8:01pm – Katie is pouring milk on the floor mats in the living room and licking it off them. Yeech… I’m reminded of what my friend said… “Once you have a child nothing will ever gross you out again”.
