Day #252 (Sun., Sept. 12, 2010) – Crawling more and more…
6:45am – My wife had a tough night and I guess I slept through it. Little Katie was up and down and up and down. Now it’s daddy’s turn to tend to little Katie. My wife went for a nap and I’m playing with little Katie in the playyard and the activity station. I just handed her a sweater and she is circling around the activity station shaking on it and munching on it like a lion with a prime piece of meat. Hope she gives this habit up by the time she reaches her teens…
10:00am – I just got back from taking little Katie on a stroll around the neighborhood. We took a different route this morning, up past the daycare and animal hospital and even took a stroll through the retirement community. Little Katie got to touch her first acorn. I had to be sure to take it away before it ended up in her mouth.
The photo to the left shows the yogurt that little Katie is currently eating. We get a coupon for it from time-to-time so we are able to save a few pennies on it…
My wife is trying to study this afternoon so it’s my turn to take care of chipmunk. She’s on the bed right next to me now. She likes to watch old classic movies I find. She will stare at them and every so often go “ahhh…” With cartoons she just stares…
Little Katie is normally content to sit on the bed with me. Today she decided that she wanted to crawl off it and explore the floor. She has started to lift her torso more which gives her greater speed. Looks like we are going to have to keep our eyes on her even more as she gets older…
Little Katie is behaving very strange these days. I started to play the guitar for her and she started to cry…like she was scared of it. My wife tried to give her a bath and she started to cry…she usually loves baths.
